KOA were booked such that I was only able to confirm a basic Kamping Kabin for a few days then moving into a nicer cabin with plumbing then back to the basic cabin again for the duration. Their only alternative was tenting the entire time and I prefer a place to lock up gear. Please contact me OFF LIST if you want to share. Looks like I'll be crashing a KLR event on a DRZ unless I can pick up a bottom end (or decent used engine) for my KLR before then. All full after May 23. I think I got the last cabin in the Moab Valley RV Resort. Camping spots also sketchy after 23rd. Some cabins/campsites available up to 23 May. If you are coming to the rendevous, spaces are filling up fast/ or are gone in the two places I checked. I would imagine other motels are also booking fast. Finding a room without a previous reservation might be difficult; perhaps Fred can comment. Reading the park site, you have to have a 'toilet' and carry out all solid human waste...so winging it for camping will be a little sketchy as well unless you can get into a primitive campground with a vault toilet.
