new mikuni performance carburetor for the klr650

Post by Ron Haraseth » Mon Apr 01, 2013 9:07 am

I would have taken pictures of my gauges on my Mikuni equipped 2000 KLR, but the Shinkos started to giving some wobble over 110 and I had to back off. -----Original Message----- From: RobertWichert Sent: Monday, April 01, 2013 7:47 AM To: Fred Hink Cc: KLR List Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] New Mikuni Performace Carburetor for the KLR650 OK, Fred... I looks like there is more than one April Fools joke on that presentation. Did you photoshop the gauges? Robert Wichert P.Eng. Eh...ride what you like. I used to race motocross, old western style TT (stripped street bike on flatter dirt open terrain), flat track, i tried road racing amd trials. I was never good at any but had fun and learned a lot..one that except for trials racing is the fastest way to turn money into noise. As far as HDs. cruisers, tourers, Brit Bike fans (a disease in its own right..i am sort of cured...remission may be a better word) etc...the world is a big place. there is little need for ignorant disrespect of those who persure a differant aspect of a hobby....so learn a lot ...then you will not be ignorant. I am not a social rider. I go to ride the bike see the world. at the end of the day i may wish to chat with another rider. more often i do not. That sort of keeps me out of most of the leather and lifestyle rinders. Some like that . sort of like going to a sports bar...some like the comraderie...some just think it is noise. I like my KLR and use it as a touring bike. It works fine for that.
