Where is my H's?
Hi all!
I am back to see what the heck is going on and ask a simple (not stupid) question: "why should I come back to the KLR 650?"
I have been on the HD road for a few years with a Buell X1 Lightning then (and now) a XL1200X.
There are a thousand and one reasons to leave the rumble and style of the 48 - and as many to stay with it.
What say you?

Chuck,
If you like "rumble" and "style," perhaps you should stick with those shiny, overweight motorcycle substitutes; the KLR may not be for you.

James,
//who said he had trouble finding neutral at a standstill with Rotella?//
Yes, it was me. When I was using the Rotella T6, I found that after a thousand miles or so, the transmission would start getting "notchy" and it was hard to get it in to neutral at a stop. I switched to Mobil Delvac and I don't have that problem any more. My particular KLR's transmission is a quick indicator of oil condition.

Was it you, Jeff, who said he had trouble finding neutral at a standstill with Rotella? I have the same problem, not too serious but I still don't get how the oil could cause that.
