Ah HA. Makes sense but still a sprocket shouldn t break. I have seen lots of damaged sprockets with teeth bent over or missing but I never seen a sprocket break off.

A piece of his hard case bracket (holder) broke loose and jammed the chain & LOCKED The tire.

what sprocket??
Attached is the (sideways) Picture of the eaten away front sprocket.
He was lucky, he did NOT go down when the rear LOCKED UP.
