Gino Pokluda remains a good friend to me and I hear from him often. For those that don t know Gino, he is the reason we are all here now. He created the KLR650 News in the mid-early 90s. This was a one page newsletter for his local riding group in Albuquerque, which was evolved into the Dual Sport News (hence our DSN_KLR650 in our address). The Dual Sport News has been renamed Adventure Motorcycle Magazine. http://www.adventuremotorcycle.com/ The last time I spoke with Carl Parker editor of Adventure Motorcycle Magazine he told me he still had a few copies of The Gino Years. There is lots of good KLR history in our Archives here on Yahoo. If anyone knows of the Onelist archive, please let me know. Let me throw out some names of old time members of this list to see if anyone remembers these people.
