That was way cool!
I was wondering how they (you) were going to get the car stabilized for chute deployment.
Looks like the chute has some sort of explosive that pushes it way clear, and/or was it deployed remotely when an acceptable attituce was reached?
I used to drive the bus while others exited (2d Marine Recon/ANGLACO); some more successfully than others, nothing as sexy as this!

Even here in the Sonoran desert it hasn't gone much above 60 at the highest temps of the day so I can imagine not many of us are out on the road. So here's what I do in my spare time. You can see some of my local riding area in the background. > > The first one made it all the way to the Super Bowl. I'm thinking that was my 15th or 16th car I've done. I don't get any of the 'fame' in terms of being on the screen, but they all know who I am. Chucking shit out of planes is my specialty, and it is a very cool job! It's fun to go out to the impact area on the KLR. > > But tomorrow there's no fame. I'll clean my chain. It's dusty here. Then I'll go ride out into the desert for a bit and maybe pick up some stuff in town.
