Tucson AZ 25d Sandiego CA 45 39 tonight Las vegas 28d 21 tonight Note SOUTHERN WARM areas.....usualy Lansing MICHIGAN (KNOWN AS WINTER WONDERLAND) 6:30 am 51d. over 61 today? I would say "Global warming" but I'm sure the whole SOUTH WEST would disagree. 61 in GR GREAT RIDE weather, and already comitted to take grandkids to the Museum's for the day. (feels like 75, since we are used to slipping on ICE just 2-3 days ago. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Yeh, it's been unusually cold and weird here in Phoenix the past month or so. Lots of overcast wintery days, that would be normal for many places, but very odd for us. Today it's only supposed to be 48, with a low of 28. Every time I want to take the bike out we get one of these odd winter days....I've only ridden my new (to me) KLR once since I bought it a week or so before Christmas. It's been freezing over night here in Citrus Heights, CA (near Folsom / Sacramento) for the last few days. It warms up in the daytime though, and I've been riding to get where I need to be. Once the sun goes down though, I get an ice cream headache pretty quickly. Do they make heated helmets? Robert Wichert P.Eng. That's why I like it in MN. Winter seems long, but in reality, it only lasts about seven months.

I'll be in Page AZ for the next day or so for work, and it's not supposed to get above freezing while I'm there. Very odd for the high desert of AZ. Beautiful riding country though, I wish I could take the bike. Maybe sometime in the spring I can go back. Ryan Phoenix, AZ RobertWichert wrote:

Unfortunately, those 7 months are not always contiguous months. Nor, can you 'predict' the beginning or end of winter. smirk. revmaaatin. who lives at the same latitude as Judd, just better riding conditions
