Hi, I just climbed on my bike and started it and everytime I hit 1st gear it turned off. I have a 1997 KLR 24,000 smiles and this is the first time the kickstand mechanism malfunctions. My question is how do I disconnect or remove the thing or both. If there is a way to view a previous thread I would appreciate the link. Thanks in advance. Alex.
