I rode, the whole 4 miles of it. Takes longer to put the gear on, warm up the bike, take the gear off than the ride.

My KLR is my primary transportation and I ride to work every day. I live close enough to work that sometimes I ride home for lunch (like today!) Paul A16

I rode to work today as well. My A9 is my primary means of transportation. It was 91 degrees in rush hour traffic this morning here in Phoenix. It is 45 miles one way through traffic. I did not notice an exceptionally larger number of bikes on the road here in Phoenix, but then again ..... it is going to 112 degrees on the way home. PauL M. I get to ride every day the big two blocks to work. Ah the advantages of a small mountain town. Chris- --- In DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com, "James L. Miller Jr." wrote:

I got up early this morning anticipating ride to work day. Went out to the garage, started up the KLR, and then it dawned on me why I never ride it to work. I work out of my home. I rode the 11 miles to the shop today. Saw 6 bikes on the way, 5 of them were the exact same kind. BMW Police bikes... Ran some errands and saw afew, not sure if more than any other day. Didn't seem like it. However, I am noticing a trend towards more riders on teh road here in RIverside. Maybe they all got tired of me zooming past them while they sat in traffic and wised up. Happy Ride To Work Day CA Stu
