Snap on used to sell a tool for this exact issue. It was a flexible shaft with a rigid back half, a set of stiff tines that can be opened and closed via a thumb trigger. I had one years ago. I dropped a nut down a carb in a 308 Ferrari of a customer once. It took me 45 min laying on the rear fender and a lot of the engine with a foam pad to fish that put. Sure beat a top end job on that car.
Camper. What engine truck and year. You may have heated it to the point it went into a limp home mode. Some ECUs are set up to keep damage from close to full over heat down by severely limiting power.

They still make those claws. Pep Boys has them.

foot peg advice needed

I want an inexpensive set of folding foot pegs for my sw motech engine guards. the hole is 3/8". anyone have any advice? thanks. robert
