Brian, I also have an 86 600 and recently put a supertrapp race series can on it. Consequently, I have a head pipe and stock muffler for it for sale if you're interested. May have a few other spares around tell me what you need and I'll take a look. The head pipe is in gbreat shape and the muffler has some surface rust, but no tweet.

Gary - I've had a tired battery do exactly the same thing to me, although it was on a kick-start only SR500. I knew the battery was weak, but it didn't need a good batt to turn it over, just a decent kick. Very difficult to track down. Check your battery connections (and others), and the condition of your battery. Tom A-14 98 DR650 94 DR350

Hi, I just bought a 1984 KLR 600 and need parts! If anybody knows of one that is being parted out or if anybody knows a cycle salvage that has one please let me know. I'm looking for a rear rack, turn signals and other body parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Rob D A15 B1 (I think) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
