Fred e-mailed me and said he was headed down to Big Bend for a few days....I think this is what your looking for....I don't know if it will fit pre 08's though.... It looks like a basic L bracket, Where do you fasten it that its out of the way but the sound not obstructed? ON 08's they put it BEHIND the right gaurd behind the water reserve. I would think, (I'VE, never heard it on an 08+) that the sheld AND WATER tank, ect. would muffle some of the LOADNESS.??? Espeacialy for INFRONT of you, where you want it most.

#2 on the left is where I have Mine with opening Pointing to the left so rain etc. does NOT push in while riding. Water? Been threw some OVER the horn deeper water, (5-7 times) later in the day or the next it drys out and still works fine. the first few times I hit the button, (after an hour or so) I THINK it's blowing out some of the water. I have the same "engine guard" But moved the pegs 2.5 inchs. farther out and forward. PERFECT for my 34 inseam. (ON LONG stretchs of highway.) And by removing 2 extra bolts I can replace back to normal.

Tonight I'm in Alpine, TX. Big Bend was real nice and kind or reminded me of home. I am able to receive emails but not send them for some reason. Don't know if this problem is a computer problem or motel problem. (probably operator error on my part) I'll try to get to everyones emails when I return home the first of next week. Fred
