Yes, I am reading the list.
Why, I even occasionally add to the confusion/hubris.
The subj was: Virus Incident on this KLR site;
which remains, entirely true.
May I suggest,
One reads the subject line to see if it has something of interest; not to garnish a conclusion without reading the treatise.
Sorry to create any confusion--I can see how that it might read, be read that way.
NOTE:
We are grateful for Yahoo's protection--thanks for letting us know that Yahoo verifies that they at least believe it did not occur through them. (all words after Yahoo in imaginary RED)
And you must have special list powers. smile. I can't highlight anything red, blue or porp-pule.
Perhaps, I should have added a word-
such as
"Virus incident occurred while reading this KLR site."
Still seems defaming.
Like-
You go VIST grandma; she hugs you, she kisses you and later, she gets [reports she has] a cold.
You call a week later, and she immediately states,
'You gave me a cold!'
Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. shrug.
More likely,
The cold virus might have been on the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes envelope.
or
on the envelope containing the Medicare explanations for the new Obama Care for Seniors.
SPECIAL MEDICARE INSTRUCTIONS: Lick/sniff here for special senior considerations, etc.
What is most important to share is that there is a new level of cyber attacks--wicileak related? who knows. Seems to coincidental to be ignored. Seems logical. They [someone/hackers] hit all the big financial institutions, the pentagon and others! Should we think DSN is exempt! (wink) and a (snort).
What I do know, as I previously stated:
I was reading here, and it happened here. shrug.
No intent to cry wolf--but there was a real problem that needed to be shared in a timely manner.
I do believe I was explicitly, and immediately clear, without accusation, that I did not know the actual source; as previously stated, and reproduced below.

POSSIBLE FAKE MICROSOFT TROJAN--
Subject line changed, but will be linked to Mark V Horn's reply:
I only bring this up here because it was here (DSN) that it happened.
This morning when I opened Mark's message,
It opened normally, and then went to a Microsoft type message that I said I had a compromised system, I had a virus, I had Trojans. Your computer is going to die.
Was it related to Mark's message. I have no idea.
Just reporting the sequence of occurrence.
Coincidence? shrug.
Don't know--I report, you decide.
unsnip.
And after all that--
all that hugging granny, virus exchange and such, all you wanted to know from the old gal, does she still recommend wd40 for chain cleaner and should I change my oil sooner than the OEM manual states--even though it has only sheared down to 20wt.
refmaaatin. the cold comes, the wind blows, the remuda moves on
