nklr_new triumph tiger 800xc

http://triumphadventure.com/ Not a bad looking bike. 473lbs wet. For a three cylinder that's respectable. Seems they did some homework. Lots of necessary add-on stuff like center stand, engine protection etc but seems most bikes have gone that way to keep the price point. 11 - 12K. Frame looks interesting. Sure resembles the BMW 800GS somewhat.

Wish they would totally eliminate all that artsy fartsy stuff video and show a video of it riding in the dirt and around town.  It's sad when the marketing folks get all the money and produce something that when you are watching it say to yourself 'WTF!!!!'

I thought the Brits were the ones who came up with the Vincent Black Shadow.  Not a Shabby looking bike. Mike H.

Obviously you missed the Norton/Triumph/BSA ads of the early 70's.  The models were very functional and most aesthetically pleasing.  No doubt they inspired a few young men.  The motorcycles were clods of iron, the models were made in heaven. Buddy
