carb mod done!

Finished the mod today and considering I've never screwed with carb's before it was not as intimidating as i thought,"WOW what a difference"not in the HP though there might be a bit,but the tractability is so much improved,roll on in top gear 55 mph to 85mph is so much better,can you say overtaking with a load on.
Not sure on gas mileage yet as i just took it for a short spin but the 48 mpg that was stated on the site i got the information from seems about right,no flat spots that i could detect.
So here it is Supertrapp IDS2,I've left about 8 of the discs in but will take some out and see what that does,42 pilot jet,160 main,drill out the plug over the idle mixture screw and 1 1/2 turns out on the screw,drill out the airbox on top with a 1" circle saw then join the circles with strait cuts so you end up with an L shaped opening,sand the edge's for a clean finish add a K&N air filter and your good to go,the only part of the mod i did not do was taking out the screen behind the air filter,leave the door on your air box as to much dirt might enter,well that's it and no I'm not a mechanic now but it does feel good when trying something new to have it turn out "OK"or so it would seem.

double speed blinkers

Guten Tag from Germany!
I finally have the Krauser bags rigged onto my racks and have wired the integrated blinkers into the KLR system. I now have 4 blinkers operating in the rear, and the single set forward.
Everything works well, except the blinkers now operate a double speed.
Any ideas? Please explain at a <5th grader level, what I did wrong and if you can, how I can correct this problem.
I like the increased visibility the 4 blinkers give me, especialy at night. I'm wondering how to increase the power of the rear brake light also.
The traffic here in Germany is very dense, and very fast. I'd like to increase my visibility to those behind me if at all possible.
Are there any threads about improving the headlight output? I'd like to change the bulbs, if possible.

Not sure on your blinker speed someone with more knowledge on that than me might be able to help,as for your headlight issue try PIAA bulbs I've found them to be the best on the market for Brightness,expensive yes but once you have them on you'll wonder how you managed without them.
