plugged pilot jet again - larger jets/in line filters help????

List I have been searching for a cross reference or parts swap list to know which parts other than a klr will fit ex. kl600 klr 250. I am looking at a kl600 front wheel and the micro fiche doesn't look the same as the klr but there photo looks like it will work. They say the pic is of the item so not sure they know what they have? Are the 250 and 650 klr's some what interchangeable, wheels body parts ect. I did do several searchs before posting so hopefully I am not being redundant. I think you will find a lot of interchangeabilty between the 600 and the 250. Body parts, in particular, will swap right over. Controls, ditto. Wheels, axles, controls should go. I don't recall if the 250 has the nice alloy swingarm and eccentric adjuster of the 600, but it resembles the 650 not at all. Between the 250 and 650, there is a lot less cross-over. Almost no body parts, The front wheels will swap but the 250 brake rotor is slightly smaller. The 250's rear brake is a drum. I don't know if the main frames are similar, but the swingarms are entirely different, and I don't think the shocks will swap. You may be able to glean some info from parts lists and fiches, but the only way to know for sure is to try the parts for fit.

Rick-- I would look at the carb-cleaner and see if it is same for 'rubber' and o-rings. Not all carbcleaners are compatible with the delicate parts. I hope your is 'safe'. revmaaatin.
