Glad to hear the rev is having fun. Too bad I sold my KLR250 project not too long ago. The tank might have been of use. I don't think he'll be coming through here, too far out of his way. Another South Dakotan, Tim Jensen, was in town yesterday for a couple of hours. I persuaded him my favorite Vietnamese noodle house was a better bet than Famous Dave's barbecue. I think I convinced him. You can get decent BBQ in the Hills, but not mi kho.

Three different times recently I have had a situation where my low-beam headlight has dimmed as rpm increased, and as it dimmed the high-beam indicator has flickered accordingly. In each instance, the last being this morning on the way to work, the problem resolved itself the next time I started the bike. Horn and turn signals worked fine at all times. Battery and bulb were both replaced during the Spring Clean-Up. Plug-in at bulb clean and coated with dielectric grease. Where else should I look, without disassembling the entire bike looking for a bad connection? The high-beam indicator flickering perplexes me and, to those more informed than me, may be a clue.
