Hello, For along time now I have been looking for a good helment. Obviously, I'm not satisfied with any I have now. I want one that is light, little wind noise and not over $200. I'm looking for advice from those who actually have been around a while and have tried several. I don't much care if it is full face or not. I do want one that has a scratch resistant shield and that the shields are not hard to find. Please CC any reply: robertwaters@... Thanx in advance, rw [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Check out the AFX dual sport helmet *http://tinyurl.com/cq6g87 *I've been using one for a while now. It fits well and is nicely vented. Haven't tried to order shields for it yet. Kevin

Robert, I wear glasses so I usually go with a modular helmet that allows me to open and put on the helmet without removing my glasses. I have a high dollar Nolan 103 with blue tooth and an HJC Symax flip; I wear the HJC more. His is the site on Kennis Kirk: http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?skuId=338618XXL&store=&catId=&productId=prod661085&leafCatId=&mmyId= There is a close out going on at this time. Howdy folks, Alright all of you Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR 650, Kawasaki Versys, Triumph Tiger, BMW GS owners, here is a ride for you! Attached you will find a .pdf file containing the event flyer for the inaugural Miller Adventures' Blue Ridge Adventure Ride, being put on by my old friend Ron Miller on September 19 and 20, 2009. No more playing second fiddle on dual sport rides. Bring your KLRs, V-Stroms, GSs, etc. and ride a good mix of fire roads, Jeep & Logging roads, and super twisty paved rural roads in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Happy trails, Al "Lumberjack" Roof C.
