This is a dangerous error in packing theory. Too big a case means more opportunity to take more crap than you need. I have packed that way many times in the past, and usually come home with more than half my gear untouched and unused. E21's give plenty of capacity, and are top-loading. Instead of looking for a little more room, give a little more thought to what you can leave behind, and how to pack what you have more efficiently.> > Thanks, Darren, I had a lot of fun getting them installed. > > I had considered the top-loading cases, but I wanted the capacity of the 1550s, and none of the top-loaders have that...yet...I have noticed that Pelican seems to be getting a bit larger with their top-load designs, and I'm hoping they might get there. > Incidentally, I am also considering upgrading my top case to a 1550...I think I even mentioned this on my install page. Could always use a little extra room!![]()
