Well put me on the list of 08s that have had the right side turn signal
fall off. Is there any aftermarket units out there sure dont want to
buy another one from KAW so i can have the same problem. I love this
bike but there are some things i think they could have made a little
better.Thanks!

Would expect an 08 to probably still be under warranty? If so take
it back and have them replace it?

I have had both the rear turn signals fall off. For now I have a
combination gorilla glue and scotch tape holding them up

Would love to see a good after market replacement.

Did they simply break and fall off or did the bike get dropped, I have
pulled
tugged and hit mine with the helmet and they are still there, just
wondering where
exactly the weak point is?
Thanks!

What's your idle speed? I find that when my idle speed is too low, my
bike pops on decel.
I didn't ride my KLR to work today so I can't go look at where I set
my idle, but I didn't set my idle according to the book. I set my idle
according to seat of my pants. When my idle is too fast, my bike
doesn't want to decel when I shut the throttle. When my idle is too
low, my bike pops when I shut the throttle. This is a KLR, so idle
speed isn't brain surgery, it's "fiddle the bloody thing until it
works"

Is it the supporting hardware that came off or did the
flasher arm actually broke off ? I have no problem
with mine but have just change them to flush mounted
made by Emgo over the weekend. I'm afraid of braking
them off if I drop the bike off road.
I also used a dual fillament in the front and use them
as driving lights to increase safety on in coming
traffic.
I had the same set up on my 2000 KLR and it did the
job.
