new profit potential for klr's

Guys in these high costs energy times, I read a story this morning
about Vespas converted into 3 wheeled rickshaws (with cab) in India.
Some carrying as much as 9 people (with luggage for 1 passenger). As
I sit here contemplating ......... thinking ........
thinking ......... I may need a shot of Crown in my morning coffee
for added stimulation. Maybe Fred can talk Happy Trails into a 3
wheeled conversion for the mighty peasant bike (KLR). I figure with
the KLR's superior power (verses the Vespa), we may be able to make a
KLR bus for inner city transport. At last, I may have found a way to
be a (quoting James Dean in the movie Giant) ... a .... richen. Sip!
I may need to buy a welding rig.

Ron,
You are supposed to be having these thoughts as you merrily roll along the way to Moab.
I'll run this by Tim B to see what he has to say. :-/

After my second shot of Crown, I have a name for our new 3 wheeled

Hey Ya'll !
I just bought my 06 KLR yesterday. 6700 miles on it. It's just barely broken in ! I gave $3600.00 for it and it is worth it. Don't worry about about the sound Jud. Thumoers are unique in how they feel and sound. Unless it's knocking or pinging or ... who knows. Congrats to you.
Ride in Peace,
Rodney
