I see the temps in the heartland were in the 70s and 80s today. How's all that snow doing? Does anyone have any snow left over? - Mike <<< Freeze warning for tonight, the first official day of the growing season in PA. Total snow for the season: 9", normal amount closer to 40"

...or ride the KLR up TO the snow line, like I do when I am in CA. ...Which is rarely, since the job keeps me here most of the time. Freeze warning was canceled overnight. Highs today in the 60s, then 70s for a couple days after that. My snow blower went unused this winter. one_moon_adv wrote:

I just finished my KLR "Spring Cleaning": Oil & Filter change; Valve & Timing adjustment; Thermo-Bob install, BigCee-type dashboard install; Heated hand-grips activation; Bracing install behind the radiator and the reservoir shrouds; New-to-me Front Cowling Bracing install (last summer wreck); Headlight frame install (last summer wreck); Brake check; Chain check; Speedo cable lube; Dealer replaced a missing muffler bolt / torqued the bolts / promised to stop those recall postcards. Will wait until August to install new MEFOs (replacing existing well worn MEFOs). Next winter I want to change the front fork oil and install zerk fittings to more easily lube rear suspension bearings. Now I'm waitng for dark to do the final headlight adjustment. Tomorrow I need to adjust the fuel/air mixtures and synch the carbs on the old BMW for a trip this weekend. Don R100, A6F
