fuel starvation?
2007 with K&N air filter seems like it is starving for fuel when run at 70 (speedo) mph for more than a few minutes. The bike will hold back then run and so on and so on. The only other carb mod I have done is the tee. I live in Florida but I do not think the heat has anything to do with this as it will do this on demand in any kind of weather. I have removed the carb and tank and cleaned them and the petcock thoroughly in case it was dirty fuel but the problem persists. It is not like I drive at this speed everyday but when I do it is really aggravating. Any thoughts would be helpful.
Thanks Russ

Make sure all carb and tank vent lines are clear and flowing freely. You mention the K&N, did this problem start when you put the K&N on? If so, it might be over-oiled. Try the stock filter to see if the problem persists. fuel starvation?
Have you tried putting the original filter back on? If so do your
symptoms persist? K and N filters are less restrictive and would
generally make your bike run leaner than normal.
