When you add products such as Lucas and Motor Honey, you are adding a thicker, heavier weight oil product. Depending upon how much you add, That sticky stuff can make your wet clutch much harder to operate. It also slows the lube reaching the motor's upper end during warm up when a disproportionate amount a wear occurs.
I stick with Rotella. I also add about an ounce AutoRx for additional cleaning, but it is fairly lightweight.
Good luck.

If you start your intake of Pepto (1/2 a tablet a day) a week or two before
you leave all your 'good' bugs get activated.

I won't change my oil w/o Lucas. I had a customer in the shop who
blew out the filter o ring on a Ford Exploder, after an oil change
w/Lucas. He drove that POS back to my shop, +12 miles. When he pulled
into the bay I removed the drain plug and nothing came out! He was a
new believer in Lucas. He had brought his own oil filter, very cheap
from Auto Zone, thinking he was saving $. He wasted all his oil, the
Lucas, and another filter. The engine was fine and pumped the same
pressure as before.
I use Lucas in all my bikes.
