A long time ago, I heard gapping a spark plug .010" above spec. can improve fuel economy but hurt preformance. Any comments/feedback? Craig Kahler

I think that the way it works is that that trick makes it easier to start, but does not improve higher speed operations. Makes sense if you think about it, but that is no guarantee. DC ckahleer wrote:
