[dsn_klr650] how long-lived?

111k on my 87 KLR. Just rings so far, but engine quite noisy. Keep
thinking it will stop running any time soon, but it doesn't.

This is probably about right. I got pretty close to 200k out of a /5. My KLR has just over 40k, and looks ready to keep running happily into the indefinite future. I change the oil reasonably frequently, without being anal about it. I would guess that the major impediment to high mileage on a KLR is lack of use.
