Know how to adjust valves and like to teach while sippin on some nice imported beers. I'll change your oil and detail your bike. I would like to learn how to do them. I love the bike. Done some international motorcyles trips on the KLR and traveled extensively so I wont bore you with garage talk either. Jason

Hi Jason! I certainly won't claim to be a guru, but I've done some work on my bike and hosted a couple of tech days. (I should probably host another one soon; I think it's been almost a year since the last one!) I'd be happy to show you the process sometime. Just let me know when your bike might need adjusting and I'll see what we can schedule. -- Blake Sobiloff http://sobiloff.typepad.com/blakeblog/> San Jose, CA (USA) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

That Motorcyclist article is actually pretty good. He reminds us a bit too much of the low power nature of the beast but otherwise it is an excellent article. I feel exactly the same way about my A15. I'd love to just go buy an 08 but I feel that my 01 with 16k on it is just broken in. We are just getting to know each other. I'm not sure the changes are significant enough to trade. I find that if I throw a couple bucks at my current ride my lust for new goes down. I will say one thing, I was considerinig an eventual upgrade (stress on eventual) to a v strom or maybe even an F650 but with the 08 I'm pretty sure my next bike choice is a lock.
