Almost always at the top. I've seen them break at the top, bottom and in the middle but usually most likely at the top unless the outer housing is damaged to let in moisture. Fred www.arrowheadmotorsports.com

I never lube throttle cables. I do lube a clutch cable from time to time. You could use something dry like graphite on your throttle cables if you think they need some lube. Fred www.arrowheadmotorsports.com

Dudes, K recommends cables be lubricated: every 3k miles/after operation in wet or rainy conditions/every year; the Owner's Manual says so. A synthetic lubricant with teflon would be best for lubing cables. If the cables lock-up, bad things could happen. Fred,,,,,;-) --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Ronald Criswell wrote:

Stickers on the tank shrouds and side panels will come off. As Blake said - the stickers on the tank however are under clear coat... To get sticky residue off I usually use WD-40. -- Jim Priest - central NC - 04 KLR650 'Gonzo' KLR Resource List and Master Tool List: http://www.thecrumb.com/wiki/KLR650_resources http://www.thecrumb.com/wiki/Master_tool_list
