My Trusted KLR waz super reliable until about two weeks ago. It stared out with stalling at idle which I fixed (short term) with adding a slight bit of choke. This fixed the problem until recently. Now it starts fine and revs while cold with the choke fully on but will stall immediately when the choke is turned off. After it warms up it will not rev. I pulled the carb and cleaned it extensively. A very small amount of gunk came out. Put it all back together .no change. The air filter seems to have no baring on the issue, same trouble with it on of completely off. This came on so quickly that I'm stumped as to what the trouble may be. Gas should be fine. Fuel filters are good. Any thoughts???? The weather is good and I'm sitting at home . Dave

I would double check the pilot jet. It's a very tiny hole, and when it gets clogged the bike won't idle off choke. Haven't had that trouble on my KLR, but my DR-Z sits for longer periods and that orifice has gotten gunked up. Someone recently posted that a welding tip cleaner will do the job. __Arden

Dan Dan I have had the YukonII on my '02 KLR since it was new. They make a top quality product, the brackets are durable but take a slight amount of tweaking to properly line up the mounting point that lines up with the seat mount bolt. I have their Bavaria boxes on my '07 and also had to tweak the brackets at that same point. I will add that the YukonII are water resistant, not waterproof. I have treated them with water repellant annually and use the included inner bags and short of total submersion they keep the contents dry. Ken
