Anyone have any Stock turn signals they would like to sell. Three out

Thanks, Bill

I think it was RM who pointed out that the BikeMaster replacements have very brittle stems, but that one could transplant the blinker portion off the BM replacement onto the KLR OEM stems. FWIW. I don't recall. Search the archives, I guess. RM>I think it was RM who pointed out that the BikeMaster replacements have >very brittle stems, but that one could transplant the blinker portion >off the BM replacement onto the KLR OEM stems. FWIW.

Bummer, Ross! I had the same quick disconnects on my Triumph, but they were OEM. As you've discovered, it's pretty easy to nick one of the rings. I was pretty lucky with mine and didn't get a leak until about three years into owning the bike. I used Sylglide to keep the rings in good shape and make them a little slipperier, reducing the chance to nick 'em. When I finally did get a leak, it was from the plastic connector actually cracking. In fact, Triumph issued a recall on all of them and replaced them with a newer design that was supposed to reduce the cracking problems. (I heard Ducati had the same problem as well.) I decided I didn't trust the plastic ones any longer and found some chrome-plated brass ones made by Colder, IIRC. Those worked quite well, but you still had to take care of the o-rings. You may be able to find the Colder ones at your local Triumph or Ducati shop.
