I ride only on the road and I was thinking about lacing up an eighteen
inch rim for the rear. Would I have to change anything like the shock
or links? I am trying to do it the cheapest way possible. I would be
running a 120 series 18 rear. Thanks for any help. TC

I'm using the GP-1's front and rear, went to the 3.25X21 for the front,
the 5.10 on the rear and so far I like 'em, and the price was right. If
your front is still good, keep it. I replaced my rear first and the
GP-1 performed fine with the stock front tire.
The GP-1's are much better in mud and gravel than the stock tires, they
whine a bit on the highway, seem to handle well wet or dry. Most of my
riding is paved roads (a 60 mile one-way commute), but the roads around
my home are mud, sand, and gravel. I can tell you the IRC's wear faster
than the stock tires. Then again, you can almost buy both IRC's for the
price of one of the stockers.
