On my 99 The bolt head is 19mm.

Im doing a valve check on an A14 and the intake is 127 and 203mm the specs are 100-200, is that 203 ok since its on the loose side?? if not I need to buy a small torqe wrench. both exausts are right at 200. so there ok. Matthew Orlando FL

Hello all- My KLR needs a new pair of shoes and I've decided to go with Maxxis' M6006 tires. I'm good to go with the rear size (there's only one available) but there are two sizes offered for a 21" front; 90/90X21, and 2.75X21. Any inputs on which to mount on a stock front rim? Your help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I've recently relocated to Omaha and today marked my first dual- sport ride since moving here. If there's anyone who's into all-day rides in the country with a stop for half-pound cheeseburgers let me know... Thanks in advance. Juan Villarreal

90/90X21 is stock size. 3.00X21 would be similar. 2.75X21 is undersize. Walt

90/90-21 tire when converted from metric to imperial is 3.5" vs 2.75" in width. The profile of the 90/90 will also be 3.5". Depending on the type of riding you do, the width of the tire may be of some importance to you. I have not had any experience with the narrower tire therefore, cannot comment on them. The profile of a 90/90 tire is NOT the same as the width. The first 90 is the width in millimetres (3.54 inches), the second 90 is the profile as a percentage of the width, so it will be 81 millimetres (3.18 inches) in profile. I ran a Maxxis 6006 on the front last year, got about 9,000 Km out of it. Almost bought another one, but decided to give TKC 80s a try on my longer trips. I run a Pirelli MT 21 for local rides.

%$@&^$ I can't find my Clymer's and my lowbeam is out. I want to pull it out and pick up a couple of bulbs. I have not done this before and gentle pulling, turning etc from the back does nothing to get the bulb out.
