I'm not sure if there is a way to correct the goofy speedo, (I suspect there isn't), but I can tell you that mine was erratic from day one. In fact, I think my first post to this list was asking why I seemed to be getting different speed indications at 4000rpm's. I'm still trying to decide if I'd really use a GPS, but have read on this list that people that DO own one use it as a much more accurate speedometer... Wise men still seek Him... That's because when speedo's are off, they are off by a percentage, not a numeric value. My car's speedo is off by 10%, IE: when it reads 80mph, I'm actually doing 88, when it reads 50, I'm actually doing 55. So it may be 3 mph off at one speed, but maybe 10 mph off at another speed. If it were off by a numeric value, say like 5 mph. It would read 5mph at zero mph, which doesn't work. Ryan Phoenix> reads fast.
