I got both the bash plate and the fork brace in today. They went on in about a half an hour total! Not a hard install of course. I get to test them out on the grueling treck to work (tampa's paved roads are worse than many dirt roads!) so we shall see how they fare. :) Thanks for the rapid shipping and straight-forward insight. I will definitely do business with you again! -Myk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

No wonder he's so popular with the aftermarket around here! ____________________ Always try to be modest, and be proud of it! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

My dry battery is gone and a new (wet) one is powering the bike - I was over-charging the bike with a cheap *trickle charger* which turns out to be nothing less than a low voltage arc welder! I dried the battery out so many times it held only 11.5v for a few starts then went flat. I thought I was killing it with the voltage regulator on the bike, but it was I. I measured the voltage across the posts (connected to the leads) installed in the bike. Not running: 12.3v 1000~2000 rpm: 12.2~12.7v 2000~3000 rpm: 13.2~14.3v 3000 rpm and up: 12.5~12.7v Regulator seems ok to me. I want to thank the list and specially those who took their time to take the extra step to help out off line. Thank you! Rev. Chuck :^)>+

thanks!
