When riding off road should I be adjusting my shocks and/or dampener to a higher level, like 4 maybe? I weigh 215 pounds and I'm 6'5" Two or three times now I have messed up my license plate when it hits the wheel going over bumps while riding off road.

Unbolt the plate and remount it using the bottom holes of the plate, might have to bend the upper corners to make it fit, but mine fit. And yes, set your preload up by turning the bolt on the top left (shifter side) to max preload "5" only turn clockwise, if you go past 5 it with snap (loudly) back to 1, believe the bolt is a 12 mm. Bring a small 1/4" ratchet with and adjust as needed on the trail. The Rebound is set on the bottom of the shock right side (brake side) behind a cheesy little cover that covers a little wheel you turn I think (actually forgot) the higher the number the slower the rebound I think whatever its pretty easy to set and go ride and stop and adjust on the trail since there are no tools needed. I have 6000mi on my Lazer Pro Duro " off road " with no signs of rattle " yet ". I have no regrets with my decision. If you do go with it , research the archives for the mentioning of the slip spacer ? I forget the proper name for it. You will need it for the best fit to the bike. I bought it at Pep Boys, $5 ? Also, replace the supplied nut and bolt at that joint with a stainless allen bolt and nut. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
