Has anyone mounted a Pelican case without penetrating the case itself? The ribs on front and back (of the 1520, at least) provide enough space to rivet the case to some flat stock. I'm planning on doing this to mount the case as a tail trunk, but I haven't shopped around for a fabricator yet. Dreas

I noticed a photo of some Pelican cases used as saddle bags. I looked at the whole line on their website and found the same ones along with a nifty 25"X25" that might be an ideal top case. Made me wonder why they haven't already entered the motorcyle luggage market. Anyone out there using them now, and if so what kind of modifications where needed to attach them to your bike? thanks, will
