Hi group, I've been lurking for a while and really like what I see. I will be buying a bike in January and could use some advice from this group. I'm 52, 6'3" and 260 pounds. Have not ridden in 25 years. Had TL 125 and KT 250 then. Ex special force, drove anything with a motor. Live in Socal near desert, plan to ride 70/30. Took a dirt bike course in August and am taking MSF course in December. My short list consists of the KLR obviously but also the XLR honda and DRS kawa. KTM or Dakar, but think the last two too much money until I'm totally committed. Suggestions?
