muffler leak....
On my A15 (rest in pieces) I had to space the muffler out so far from
the frame (to clear studded tires) that the flange on the header was no
longer parallel to the exhaust port on the head.
I solved this by using high-temp silicon sealant and TWO exhaust
gaskets. You put a little silicon on the head, each gasket, and the
header. You have to be careful to tighten the clamping bolts 1/2 turn
at a time, going back and forth to evenly crush the gaskets down.

northern california dual sport riders
A fun group of Dual Sport riders of all makes and models is going to
be going on a ride on 10/22/6 at the new Starbucks at the corner of
Natoma, and Blue Ravine in Folsom, CA. We will be arriving at 9:00am,
have a meet and greet, and then we will head-off for a day of fun
returning to the same location at around 5:00. There will be plenty
of opportunities for fuel for the smaller tank bikes (Hondas). Our
ride last month took us almost 160 miles, we saw some incredible
views, met some fun people, and had a great ride. Take a look at a
few of the pictures at our Yahoo group site.
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/GCDSR/ We will most likely spend
some time on some fire roads, but the ride will be great for first
timers, and the more aggressive riders as well.
I hope you can make it.
