Listers, I'm guessing here but probably 40% of the messages on the list never make it to my mailbox. I've discovered this when checking on the site while adding photos to the De Tour photo album. I am set up for individual e-mails. Anybody else having a similar problem or even better a solution so when a message is sent I actually receive it? Jeff, For some reason some big ISP's (AOL, MSN, ...) have some type of spam filter setup to block e-mails and some Yahoo! messages get caught in it. Try disableing the spam filters or get a free Yahoo! mail account for the groups messages. Darren Clark

Hi Jeff. Have you set up any spam blockers or word screens to sift out certain words or phrases? I haven't checked yet but I'll do a comparison to see if I'm missing messages. There's a 60% chance I'll be able to let you know. Don ne wrote: Listers, I'm guessing here but probably 40% of the messages on the list never make it to my mailbox. Don <><><><><><><> <><><><><><><> Don, Others, Thanks for the comments about spam filters and other neat stuff like that. I'm not using any. This morning I had 36 new messages in my box from this list. Some from 3 July. I checked the mail an hour later and got another 13 messages. So maybe the e-mail delivery system took a break for a while. I still haven't seen my De Tour day twelve post. Maybe whatever was going on has fixed itself. Hi Jeff, I read day 12 through the end-at-home report on the web site a couple of days ago so it is getting out there. Sounds like a Juno problem to me. They sometimes slow down if they are under attack with a virus problem, shutting down email until the worm/virus is resolved (at least that is my limited understanding). maaatin.

If you look at the full header of the late messages you can see where the e-mail was sitting. It was either on the yahoo servers or on your ISP servers (most likely). You read the header from the bottom (first transaction) to the top (final delivery). -- Doug Herr doug@...

Not exactly. Yahoo violates Internet standards by not trying again to send a message when the recipient's mail server says "try again later". So do most spammers. So now many ISPs _always_ say "try again later" and messages are delivered on the second try (usually just a few minutes later). This is called "greylisting". If Yahoo would stop being spammer-like by ignoring the relevant Internet standards, Yahoo's mail would be more reliably delivered...

dynojet jet kits

KLR Listers, I recently purchased a 2000 model with a K&N, Supertrapp, and Dynojet kit 2144.001 (1007-0043). I want to use the bike for easy cruising on fire roads and dirt roads in the Adirondacks. The aftermarket muffler is just too loud for this. I got the stock muffler and air filter but not the stock jets. I looked over the instructions for the Dynojet kit and it said you had to drill out the slide lift hole. So i guess the best way to get the stock muffler back on is to use the smallest main jet in the Dyno Jet kit. Does anybody have a DJ136 main jet sitting around from this kit? I was going to ask about stock parts but they may not work with the bigger slide hole. Anybody go back to stock..how did it work out? Gary [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
