klr650: diesel or gas oils ?

Post by Luc Legrain » Tue Mar 28, 2006 3:39 pm

I know I will add more wood to the fire here, but since I got my A-19 back in June last year and after changing the oil 4 times during the break in period,( using Kawa. oil ) I started reading about the wear protection additives in diesel, I decided to try Ford Motorcraft diesel oil, works great for me,the only drawback is, a couple of weeks ago 4:30am, going to work ( sorry, some of us HAVE to do that ) 14 degrees on the mercury, the bike did not seem to like pumping that mayo . Works good in warmer weather . Just my 1 cent worth ( can't afford 2 ) Luc. --------------------------------- New Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC for low, low rates.
