I just got an 05 RED because I heard they were the FASTEST.... just
kidding ( I found a decent deal on it after some looking ) and I want
to know how to find any organized or unorganized rides close to where
I live. Maybe there is a D.S Rider group close to me??
I'm a very new rider and I am in the process of getting the few mods I
need to go off-pavement. Any advice would be helpful.

C'mon klr riders...
Yes the klr will do wheelies, even w/ my 160lbs skinny self. Even
easier with a lady friend on the back. So even the fa(bigger guys)
riding)
]
Blip, and then twist full throttle around 3300 rpm.
Gotta admit that after a tire change to a DR650 I tried this same
procedure(klr650) I almost flipped over onto my back and got my face
a little white.
That owner said he didn't think his DR would do that.
What in the world he and others were riding before that and do
wheelies baffles me.
I still can't or am afraid to ride wheelies on much more powerfull
machines.
This info coming from a Ts185, klr250, CB500 nighthawk, klr650,klr650
owner(one at a time) owner.
