Woof. Yes, it costs money. More than canned food or kibbles. But
try GMAC, you won't be barking up the wrong tree.

Yeah, sure there is. I just sent in a quote request to GMAC for a

Nationwide Insurance now and am payin $13/mo. I don't have
comprehensive though I may add that in the spring. Do an internet
search for motorcycle insurance.

Pat,
I use Dairyland for my KLR and BMW. Last week I paid $141.70 for the 98
KLR and $173.55 for the 91 BMW KRS for full coverage, $250 deductible, and
year round coverage.

I guess that's good, I'm not sure.
I've got a 2000, paid $2100 (had 13k miles and a grand in farkles, WOOT).
Bike is in Virginia.
No comprehensive or collision.
I've got 250,000/500,000 in liability (it's CHEAP, and if you need it you'll be really glad you have it).
12 month policy (the bike is covered year-round).
I'm 35, have had 5 speeding tickets in the last 17 years (they've never affected my rates) and no accidents.
Two old cars and two other bikes are on the policy as well (there's no 'multi-bike' discount like there is for the cars.)
I pay about $175/year for the KLR.
