that goes in the left radiator shroud/cowling. Anyone got an extra one? I don't think they sell it separately. My bike looks less than pristine without it. One can see the fan through where it goes. Might be harder to get laid without one! Thanks, Jeffrey nakedwaterskier@...

I lost mine too. I've been trying to fake one using some plastic gutter screening, but haven't got a satisfactory way of attaching it yet. Goop and RTV don't want to stick to the KLR tupperware. __Arden --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "nakedwaterskier" wrote:

I thought the mounting was cheesy so I took safety wire and my safety wire (twisting) pliers and put a few twists on a few points. Zip ties would work also. Dooden A15 Green Ape

Just this past Saturday I was riding along on reserve with my trustee IMS 7 gallon tank...when out of nowhere cough cough ...Im out of gas. I pushed the bike off the road to a drainage ditch leaned it over to where the wheels were higher than the handlebars...the leftover fuel from the right side of the tank rolled over to the left. Got the bike back upright...hit the choke to get her rolling...fired right up and made it to the gas station 3 miles away. IMO this is a much easier fix than drilling the tank...if you can pick the bike up from an inverted position. keithwuenstel wrote: I'm installing an IMS tank and vaguely remember someone having added a fuel line into the bottom of the right side of the tank somehow to get the gas out of that section. This would require drilling a hole for a fitting so I'm just looking for advice/experience from someone who has done this job so I don't screw it up;-) Thanks, KW Archive Quicksearch at: http://www.angelfire.com/ut/moab/klr650_data_search.html List sponsored by Dual Sport News at: www.dualsportnews.com List FAQ courtesy of Chris Krok at: www.bigcee.com/klr650faq.html Member Map at: http://www.frappr.com/dsnklr650 Yahoo! Check out this link. I saw the finished product and it is really nice and much better than stock. http://mysite.verizon.net/ressjddk/ Dooden wrote: I thought the mounting was cheesy so I took safety wire and my safety wire (twisting) pliers and put a few twists on a few points. Looks nice, a tip I'll have to remember. However, I think the original post refers to the little triangular plastic screen in the left shroud. That's the one I need, anyway. __Arden --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, John Mann wrote:
