Can anyone help me locate a klr 650 for sale near Florida. I already
know about sandsharks and have contacted him. I am in the market for
something well used and cheap. I am working my way through school right
now and looking for somewhat of a project. Salvage, theft, flood
whatever. I can do the work, just need something to start with
thanks in advance

In my off list emails with Mr. Saline regarding the "hunting tooth"
effect and it's negation by using sprockets with an even number of
teeth, I came across an interesting fact.
The lowest common multiple of 43 and 108 is 4644, which is also their
product.
In other words, a given link on the stock chain will mesh with a
different tooth on the stock rear sprocket each revolution of the chain
until it has meshed with each of them once, then it will begin round 2,
and so on.
I thought that was interesting, adn it says to me that those boys at
Kawasaki are either pretty sharp or incredibly lucky.
I'm hoping the former.
Cheers

Stu,
Even the 8 year olds at the Y that I help build fly rods don't call me
Mr. Saline. I go by Jeff. : )
Yeah, I'm betting they got lucky with the sprocket and teeth thing.
Best,
Jeff
