anyone have a broken jc whittney tail box and want to sell your mounting plate ? or do you have an extra mounting plate for some reason ? thanks, scott

Ok, different question about the JC Whitney tail box. What are those two steel rails for that come included in the hardware? I mounted mine this last weekend and I really like it, but I couldn't figure out what those rails were supposed to do. ed A17

Is there a manufactures name on the box somewhere ? Try calling the company direct, many companies will send out replacement parts free.
