transition face sheilds?

Post by Russell Dixon » Sun Sep 04, 2005 8:59 pm

I 've got these cool glasses that tint when I am in the sun.."transition lenses"... Does anyone know of any helmet people with a face sheild that will work this way? Seems way logical to have a sheild that will tint automatically. After all, polycarb is polycarb. No groundbreaking technology needed. Let me know what you know. If nothing is out there, we can split a patent and retire comfortably. Thanks. _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! I've never seen a shield with this capability, but here's an adhesive insert from the Fog City folks that does the same: http://www.modernworld.com/cgi-local/search.cgi?user_id=52035> -- Blake Sobiloff San Jose, CA (USA)

klr650 purchase question

Post by Russell Dixon » Mon Sep 05, 2005 8:29 pm

$5,000 out-the-door at Hager Motorsports in Rock Hill, SC. Just out of Charlotte, NC. (2005 KLR 650). Big dealership and they move lots of bikes. They sell Suzuki, KTM, Honda, Kawasaki, etc... I have had good experiences with this crowd. They seem willing to work towards your end of the price spectrum.
