olive drab shift lever

Post by Tom Zangla » Wed Aug 03, 2005 2:58 pm

Just wondering ... My new 2005 Red and Black KLR 650 has a Olive Drab Shift Lever on it... I wonder if they were using the shift levers that were intended for the U.S. Marines cycles??? Tom.

Hopefully the Marines are getting a stouter lever. AFAIK, the shift lever has been that color since my old A1 rolled off the assembly line. __Arden

tach question

Post by jrockrat » Thu Aug 04, 2005 4:33 am

I'm looking at a 2000 klr650 that is for sale. The tach doesn't work. Any thoughts on what may be causing that and worse case scenerio on what it would cost to fix it? Thanks
