Does anyone have any saddlebags (kawasaki brand or other) or tail bag for the 650 that they would like to part with?

Most of the other bikes I've had in the past had a beeper that went on when the turn signal was on. The KLR doen't, and i find myself leaving the turn signals on when I don't intend to. Does anyone know of, or better yet, have experience with putting a beepr on a KLR so that absent minded folks like me don't make the riding world more dangerous by training other drivers to ignore turn signals by leaving mine on? .........Linden

Lol, dude, everyone does it some time, and every last one of us feels like a dips**t when we do, you will find though that with time it happens less and less. It is like any other aspect of riding, at first the wind on a KLR seems dangerous, but with time you gain an instinct for what is really going on versus what it feels like is going on.... I feel the same way about leaving my high beems on. If leaving my turn signal or highbeams on cause just one more cager to see me, then mission accomplished. And btw, I belive "push to cancel" signals are as high tech a mod for a thumper that is available. I do believe I head ca.stu had a chinese black market knock off he could sell you under the bridge at midnight, no cops... --- lindenhankins wrote:

_http://www.dirtly.com/dual_sport_index.html_ (http://www.dirtly.com/dual_sport_index.html) I bought a made up beeper from dirtly and it definitely works, the signal is off after I use it and a cager won't pull out in front of me thinking I'm turning in where their tuning out. I lost my temper when I first got my KLR when a guy pulled out in front of me until I realized that I had my turn signal on the Goldwing has electronic self canceling signal if anything they turn off too soon. Dirty has directions to make your own or you can buy a made up version from him. The cheapest safety thing a ma jig I've ever bought and really could save my life, Dan Oaks; also known as bierdo / Dirtly Thanks again Marshall PS he's also got some other neat tricks at his site.
