Hi gang: I got the tools and bike stand ready, now just have to purchase the parts. Is there only one source for the doohikey parts, and which spring is recommended? too tight and it will break, too lose and will not tension properly. Any ideas and advice is welcome. Thanks. JC Altamonte Springs, FL Big Red A19 ps: planning a central florida doohikey party.. email me if interested __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - You care about security. klr mods/trail ride ?

Post by jake03ed » Fri Jun 10, 2005 7:50 am

Hello, I'm located in Adams County, Ohio and would be interested in gettting together with some other dual sport riders for backroad/trail cruising.I ride a 2001 KLR6560.I recently installed a doohickey kit, aftermarket exhaust, and in the process of rejetting my carb. I hope to purchase the proper jets this morning and finish up my mods. Anyone else replace their KLR's exhaust? Advice on rejetting ? How about aftermarket air filters? I'm considering getting a different air filter but haven't decided what brand to get. Any advice/suggestions would be welcome. Thanks, Darrell Peebles,Ohio
