Howdy Folks, need some help please! I rode to work this morning (on my KLR) as usual accept that all of a sudden my throttle is sticking open. I lubed the crap out of the cables and the spring . I pulled the cables off the attachement point on the engine and spun the piece by hand. It roles forward but needs a push to role back. The lube worked for a bit but in the morning it was back to sticking. Suggestions PLEASE! This collective group knows SO much about KLR's. Thanks all. Scott

rubber baby buggy bumpers

Recently put on a Moose skidplate (nice...) and noticed, after just one long ride therafter, I had lost a curious piece O rubber (Kawi part - "Rubber Cap") which resides at the lower left side of the engine housing - covering an exposed shaft end - part of the countershaft, maybe? ANyway it looks like (from lookin at a Stock bike) that this rubber cap is easily kept in place by the position of the stock skid plate, but the Moose skidplate offers a bunch more room that stock. SO mine rattled off at some point after the Moose installation. Anyone else run into this? Anyone else buy a replacement? ANyone else come up with a 'McGiver' to keep the rubber baby buggy bumper from fallin off, again? Or do I just ignore it? js _________________________________________________________________ Don t just search. Find.
